The Sponsored Walk will take place on Sunday 17 May 2015 and will commence and finish at The Masonic Hall, 83-85 Adelaide Street, Blackpool, FY1 4LU. The route is the same as last year and is 6 miles or if you prefer 10 kilometres. It can be walked in either direction (or do it twice) but ensure you start and finish at the Masonic Hall.
This year all proceeds will be divided equally between Fylde Coast Women’s Aid and RNLI (Blackpool).
The Sponsorship Form enables all donations to be Gift Aided through The Grand Charity Relief Chest, thereby increasing the walk income for disbursement. Please ensure that the form contains the home address and post code of every sponsor and that the gift aid box is ticked in order that full benefit can be gained. Gift Aid; however, is not a pre-requisite should anyone not wish to use this facility. Please also ensure that all the information is legible as it cannot be altered by the walk organisers. Also remember Sponsorship is not restricted to the members of your Lodge or Chapter and can come from your own family and non-Masonic friends who may wish to support you in your endeavours for these worthwhile charities. It is hoped that every Lodge and Chapter will sponsor at least one of their members to participate in the walk, hence creating a reasonable number of walkers to guarantee success. Other members can then support the ‘walker’. There is no restriction to the number of members or their families and friends taking part.
Walk Information, including the Sponsorship Form will be sent to all Lodges and Chapters. Once you have collected the forms please send the Registration Form to the Walk Treasurer W. Bro. Ian Stirling PPrSGD, 15 Wicklow Avenue, The Belfry, Lytham FY8 4TD (email@example.com in order that the organisers are aware of the number of participants. Please do this as soon as possible as it is important, not only, to ensure that adequate arrangements can be made in respect of catering, but to allow the organisers to measure support for the walk.
For Health and Safety reasons all participants will be required to register at the Masonic Hall between 9am and 9.30am on Sunday 17th May 2015 when they will be issued with a numbered ticket for Hotpot and raffle entry when you have completed the walk. It also ensures that we can check that all the participants have arrived back safely. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Once you have completed the walk, please collect any outstanding monies as soon as possible. Your completed Sponsorship Form, together with the proceeds should be sent to Ian Stirling forthwith. Please DO NOT send cash through the post.
